On July 4th, 1776, the Americans made a bold and powerful declaration to the King of England and to the rest of the world. We are willing to risk our lives and our resources to remove your armies from our land and to free ourselves from the grip of tyranny. We we will not be silent, while those you have appointed to govern, abuse the power of their office with the intention of oppressing our people, our freedoms, and our liberties.
